So i promised to use this thing more often….

So, Hello again everyone… yes I'm still around, i visit my blog often but seldom do i updated it… well, 2009 has rolled around so, before February comes, i am going to resolve to be a little bit more faithful to my blog and its viewers (if there are any of those).

Well for now I'll just give a brief update about what I've been up to lately. First thing i want to note is that Johanna DeHaan and I are now in a relationship with each other!! She’s is a young lady i met at youth camp a few years ago, and over the past year and a bit I've gotten to know her a little bit better, and then through God’s amazing providence He brought us together again in Mexico this past winter and as of Jan 1, 2009, we began this new step in life, learning more about each other to see what purpose God has for us in our lives together. We hope that through our relationship that God may continue to be the center of our lives, and that we may honor, and glorify Him in all things.

And yes, Mexico was amazing, not only for the reason just mention ;-) but also because of how we saw God working through us and among us!! It truly was incredible. In the time that we were there, we managed to build 2 small homes for 2 families from the church there. Just seeing the gratitude for what we were doing for those families, even though these homes were quite small compared to our standards. And then I think about how ungrateful we are for what we have, and we have so much compared to them. It certainly gives another perspective on gratefulness. We had a great time fellowshipping with the rest of our group and with the Mexicans even through the language barrier.

So me at the moment. Well currently i have made it successfully to term 3 here at BCIT, in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Last semester, I don’t want to talk about it, I’m glad its over. This semester though, seems like it should be interesting, I have courses in Pulses, PLC’s, PLD’s, Laplace Transforms, PC Architecture and Microcontrollers. So yeah, I'll be spending lots of time this semester doing lab preps and stuff. maybe, just maybe i can keep this think up to date through all the work i have to do this semester.

Well, its a wrap, bedtime for me, i have a nice 2 hour long lecture tomorrow morning about PLC’s so i should get some rest before that… I have a feeling it might be one of those double coffee lectures… ah well we’ll see what happens.

Howdy everyone... sorry for being a little delinquent with my posting habits.. but yeah, wat can i say.. why post anything if i have nothing to post?? well, i guess i can give u alls a lil bit of an update on life as it stands here in Chilliwack...

Since my last post i beleve i finished my first semester at BCIT in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I actually did quite well and look forward to my next semester starting again in September.

I also just got back from Ontario on monday, had an awesome time out there. I just wanna shout out a quick thanks to all my friends out there and everyone who had to bare with me the time i was there.. I look forward to the next time i can return out there again. Maybe some of you guys/gals can head this way sometime!! (like yeah u need to get away from that insane humidity u have out there sometime!!) Come on out and see some real mountains so that u can see they do actually do exist not just in photos!!

Well that basicly puts me up to date just like that... livin the life of the simple... (I wish).. so yeah no i get to spend the rest of my summer installing vinyl decking, aluminum railings and such stuff for the next 2 months... *sigh* ah well so be it -- no pain no gain they say...

so yeah wat else must i say?? maybe i could get some links to some more blogs cause i just noticed mine was quite short... thanks

well i guess i'll talk to u all again soon hopefully if God so wills it.. and i'll end with a note of encouragement to all who are 'fighting' :

Resurrection??

Is it time for a recreation of this blog?? maybe tryin pulling it out of the dust and posting stuff here once in a while?? 

If I want to do this i am first going to need a purpose behind it... anyone have any ideas? I am goin to post a link on my facebook to note that i might just begin using this thing a little more often again. well post comments on any idea's you might have.

Another Attempt

Well now i shall make another attempt to make this my master blog. I have again made some more modifications which are visible on the side bar. I should soon have the ability to post images on here as well which i can not do right now. well, happy blogging... oh and email me if u wish to become a member because i have it set so that only members can post.

Modifications to my Blog

As i'm sure u can all now see, i just made some major modifications to my blog. The main one: Changing the template. I also, if u have not yet noticed, added a Google adsense thingy to the side bar there. I may have said this before in one of my other posts but, i think i'm going make this blog my main blog, giving it priority over my old msn blog because this has so much more functionality... anyways, i g2g ttyl

Lappy....

Yeah, My laptop just crashed. I just brought it to Future Shop this evening. I guess i'm gonna have to get used to using my old and slow computer. I don't really have a problem with it or anything it's just that i haven't gotten my msn messenger working on it yet. 8'( oh well, i'm sure i will figure it out some time...

It all started yesterday when i tried to install linux on a small partition on it. some how when, i made the partition, the filespace that it used also contained some of the windows system files so when i went to reboot it, it blue screened on me everytime. This morning when i went to start it up, it didn't work at all. it just killed the machine everytime i tried booting it....

Well, i'm starting to get used to this computer again. It's currently running Mandriva 10.2 LE but i'm currently running Knoppix on a live CD. I'm thinking of wiping out Mandriva and useing Knoppix instead because it seems to run a little more smoothly. Anyways, that's work for tomorrow.
